Euro, I like these ivory slacks… are they washable? On the same subject, how often do you use a dry cleaner’s services. I think that’s why I wear certain clothes less often–the nearest dry cleaner is 30 min away.

Renee,
These are washable…they are my favorite pants that I have ever owned and I hope that I can find more of them as I want them in brown, black and grey. They originally had a cuff but I had that removed. I hate cuffs and as soon as I can I want to have the cuff taken out of my other pairs of slacks.
I have to admit that I almost never go to the dry cleaners. I avoid “dry clean only” clothing and if it says “dry clean” I typically alternate between hand washing and laying flat to dry and using a home dry-cleaning kit. Though I do typically have coats professionally cleaned at the end of their wearing season to remove any skin oils. Mostly I am a hand washer though….pants, towels, and sheets are about the only thing that is never subjected to hand washing.

I have used the home dry-cleaning kit on sweaters. Worked well. Will try it on other items. I will look for those slacks on BR site.

I adore this outfit on you. The white pants are so fresh and everything fits well. Well done!
Do you bake your french bread or buy it? I wish I knew how to bake a good loaf of crusty french bread.

Thank you Stephanie! I buy my french bread from Wholefoods. They have pre-baked and then frozen loaves in the freezer section of my store..all I have to do is heat them for ten minutes in the oven and I get warm, crusty bread. Its the best baguette I have ever eaten.
